Kikuchiyo, while not actually Japanese, disregards his own culture and background, while giving anyone an impression that he is an actual Japanese rather than a foreigner who strives to blend in with Japan's culture. However, he will never do so, due to Japan's social structure.

He used to actively participate in an anime and manga review website.
