[edit] Biography

[edit] Early Life

Ming was born in Beijing, China. As a typical Chinese in China, Ming spent all his early years studying and hadn't made any contact with Video Games or any other forms of Digital Entertainment. It wasn't until he moved to New Zealand that he, for the first time, used a Computer for any other purposes besides studying.

[edit] New Zealand and the Digital Age

Ming was freed from his endless studies when he moved to New Zealand early 2000, and connected to the Internet for the first time in 2001. He was fascinated instantly and quickly adopted to how things were ran. Through the Internet, Ming developed an interest in Electronic Devices and is still attracted to them.

[edit] Internet Life

Ming uses the internet daily for all purposes. He usually uses the internet to download items, as well as doing Online Trading. He also does most of his homework on the computer with the help from the internet.

Ming is now signed up at countless forums, though his role ranges from General Moderators to 'no posts'. Major ones include:

He also has a Bebo Account, which he often uses to connect with one of his few friends. Surprisingly, he has quite a number of Homepage Views, despite the limited number of friends he has.

[edit] Personal Life

Ming currently goes to Macleans College and puts his studies first. His favourite subject is Mathematics. Ming does have many hobbies he likes doing in his spare time. These hobbies include:

  • Video Gaming (Mostly RTS and Nintendo)
  • Surfing the Internet
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Table Tennis
  • Anime (Including Detective Conan, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Death Note, Bleach, etc)
  • Piano

Because New Zealand doesn't appreaciate most of Ming's Hobbies, he is usually seen as a abnormal outsider to the society. As a result, the number of friends Ming has are considerably tiny for his age and are mostly overseas. Even so, this doesn't put Ming off one bit, as long as there are friends who can understand him.

[edit] Nintendo

[edit] First Encounter

The first Nintendo Game Ming played was Pokémon Red. It was an unforgettable experience for him. However, whenever he tried to talk about it, people just walk away laughing. It didn't take long for Ming to realize New Zealand weren't very fond of Nintendo. Because of peer pressure, Ming never got enough courage to purchase any Nintendo Consoles during his first few years, and only used the VisualBoyAdvance Emulator to secretly play GBC/GBA Games when alone.

[edit] Inspiration

In 2005 Ming's life was forever changed. David Lee, one of his best friends, who had been in New Zealand for a few months announced that he no longer wanted to stay there. The reason was because the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game wasn't appreciated in New Zealand. He was willing to go back to his torturing studies in Taiwan just for Yu-Gi-Oh!. His heroism had a massive effect on Ming, and from that day on, Ming wasn't afraid of Peer-Pressure anymore. He moved on to buying his first console, the Nintendo DS Lite in 2006, and the Wii in 2007.

[edit] "Ming-tendo"

As of today, because of Ming's love for Nintendo, he is often mocked for it. Even so, David Lee's heroism continues to push Ming forward. Ming also met many other friends who secretly showed support for Nintendo. These people include:

...and many more. These people also help boost Ming's confidence when the 'world' (New Zealand) is against him.

[edit] Owned Consoles

Ming was late moving into Nintendo Consoles due to stated reasons. These are consoles that he currently owns.
