OSW: /* Information */

==Information==
A useful app that allows you to 'scrub' away the garbage data of Wii ISOs, replacing it with blank compressable data, so that in most cases the size of the compressed ISO is dramatically reduced.

'''All credits go to Dack for making this program, and how to use it.'''

==Purpose==
It allows you to:

1. Open up the Wii iso's and extract individual files from them.

2. Change the iso so that unused areas are overwritten with 0xFFs. This has the effect of then making the ISO much more compressable (depending on the size of the game content).

==Required==
You need:
# You will need a copy of the ubiquitous "key.bin" in the same directory.
# You should not need to install any extra runtime files.
# A descrambled wii iso
# Plenty of disc space
# A fair bit of time.

==Usage==
1. How to use:
* Copy the key.bin file to the same directory as the exe.
* Load the software.
* Load the ISO file by clicking on the 'load iso' button
* What the program is doing appears in the bottom window
* Disc filelist appears in the top window as a standard treelist
* Name of game and size of the data on the disc appears in top right
2. How to extract files:
* Only one at a time at present
* In the treelist click on a file to select
* Right click the mouse button
* Select 'Save' from the popup menu
* The fields on the filename shown are: name, partition, Offset into decrypted file, Filesize
3. How to scrub the disc:
* Click on the clean and save button
* This creates a copy of the loaded ISO with the same name but (compress) appended to the name before the .ISO part (so SPM.ISO would become SPM(compress).ISO).
* You still need 4.5 Gig of storage at this point but can specify which ddrive etc. to save it on
* Compressing this image should give you a figure close to the size of data detailed earlier

==Updates==
# Way of scrubbing changed slightly so that the sector crypto header is left unchanged. This makes it a bit more difficult to detect but lessens the compressability.

==The Birth==
[[Image:8fkkk5l.gif|thumb|BoneMonkey's avatar]]
International BoneMonkey Day was created on January 1, 2008 at 11:36 PM by BoneMonkey declaring January 2nd as International BoneMonkey Day.

On January 2, 2007 at 12:29 PM, BoneMonkey Day became a week long celebration. The event will remain named Day though.
:[http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=70454 The birth topic]

==Rules==
Take BoneMonkey's avatar and edit it in a funny way and wear it on January 2nd. In addition to that you greet people with the official International BoneMonkey Day slogan: "Humpy BoneMonkey day!"

==Story==
BoneMonkey Day is the celebration of the birth of BoneMonkey although he was actually born August 31.

The traditional thing to do this day is to mail all your bacon and cheese to BoneMonkey.

But he will not eat them. Instead he will make a bacon and cheese statue in his likeness, and only then will he eat it.

==Song==
Jingle bonemonkey jingle bonemonkey jingle all the way!

Oh what fun it is to make a cheese and bacon statue of bonemonkeeeee!

Then a 1 hour triangle solo and then the song is over.

You can download the BoneMonkey song [http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C4V8H5F2 here] (made by bootdaemon)

The EZ-Flash IV is the long awaited Nintendo DS cart from the EZ-Flash team, known for their quality products with excellent compatibility in the GBA arena. The EZ-Flash IV is very similar to the EZ-Flash III – except it sports a mini-SD card slot, rather than internal NAND flash memory. As such it requires no external linker device, just a mini-SD card, which of course means that your storage space is limited only by the size of your card.

=== Features ===

* 128Mbit PSRAM
* 256Mbit Norflash
* 32Mbit SystemLoader
* 8Mbit SRAM for saver
* MiniSD is used as external storage
* Supports upp to 2 GByte Mini SD (FAT16 only)
* Low power consumption
* Compatible with all GBA, NDS and NDS Lite consoles.
* Compatible with 99% of GBA and NDS games.
* The save files are saved into Mini SD.
* Real time save will be supported. (not supported yet as of 16 July 2007. No sign of an update)

:Excerpt: ''"While NDS compatibility is not perfect, software updates look sure to make this a viable contender in the compatibility stakes in the future. GBA support is one thing that is sure to have a lot of pulling power for the EZ4, and the inclusion of internal memory in the cart ensures that compatibility is top notch - apart from the lack of a real time clock for GBA games, which is a minor disappointment, but as it is in no way integral, the majority of customers are unlikely to notice its absence. As it stands though, the EZ4 has a little bit of catching up to do in the software department, mainly with respect to the NDS side of things, despite being a quality piece of hardware."''
