Mars, formerly known as marz93, is a student in 9th grade.

He has a various hobbies, namely sports (primarily basketball), and gaming. Mars is an avid gamer.

"Mars" derived from the name "Omar".

== Gaming Consoles ==

Mars does not own many consoles currently. His collection includes:

*DS Lite
-Playstation 2
*Gameboy Color
*Gameboy Advance.

However, he is planning on purchasing either a Wii or 360.

Out of all consoles, he considers the DS his favorite as there are a number of titles that interest him.

As a review I know what it is like to receive review samples and then spend the time reviewing them. I'm going to write about what giving samples is like for the flashcart makers, the reviewer and the audience.

== The Flashcart Makers ==
If a new flashcart is released then sooner or later reviews sites are going to ask for a sample to review. The team has two choices: To give or not to give. The latter is often the most simple initially but often leads to the product not being as successful as the competitors who do give out review samples. This is because a lot of people won't get to know how good the card is until some people ''do'' buy the card and pass on the message. To give flashcarts could be quite expensive at first but it shows a lot of things about the card and it's Team:
* The Team isn't afraid to put investment into their project
* The Team is confident that their product is good enough to stand up against the competitors
* The Team will provide support for their product
In short, I believe the companies that give out review samples are often more successful than their counterparts, however there does become a point (let's take the M3 Team for example) when they are so famous that people just take it for granted that their products will be good and the Team won't benefit as much from giving away samples.

== The Reviewer ==
A lot of my friends are jealous of me getting free carts, and that I should have to pay for them. I obviously wouldn't agree with this, but I do have reasons!
* I spend a lot of time and effort on my reviews (more so now than when I first started reviewing)
* I have a desire to write a good review because the Team has been generous enough to give me a free sample
* It's basically free advertising for the flashcart

I conducted a small survey about whether people look at reviews before buying things, here are the results:
* Yes, and I wouldn't consider buying one without a review [52.50%]
* Yes, but if there wasn't a review I would still consider it [45.00%]
* No, I think reviews aren't useful [0.00%]
* No, I forget to look [2.50%]
From this evidence you can see that people definatly use reviews to determine whether or not they buy a product, therefore review samples are extremely beneficial to the flashcart makers.

The SuperKey for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite handhelds is the perfect solutions for accessing unsigned Nintendo DS code from any GBA flash storage device. Simply plug in the SuperKey cartridge where you would put a regular DS game and make sure your SuperCard or other development kit is installed as well, and you're ready to go. You can run homebrew applications, movies, pictures, music, and games in DS mode, if its available in the software you're trying to run.

The SuperKey is compatible with almost all dev kits available on the market, including the M3, Neo Flash, EZ4 kits, and of course, the SuperCards.

A major advantage of using the SuperKey over the old SuperPass series, is the fact that the SuperKey requires no programming whatsoever. Simply plug in the SuperKey where you would put a normal DS game, and you're done. The SuperKey is a 3rd generation SuperPass, so it retains the same quality as a SuperPass would but requires no programming. Also, the SuperKey does not stick out, where as the older SuperPass series would stick out quite a bit.

Like the Passcard3, the SuperKey supports sleep mode, so as long as you have the SuperKey inserted in your DS, you can safely close the DS and not worry about your screens getting damaged.

Not only can you play games, but you can also listen to music, watch movies, read e-books, and use homebrew applications. With such an extensive amount of features, no wonder the SuperCard is the most popular choice in the DS and GBA homebrew scenes!

The SuperCard has many features, including a cheat system which allows you to enter codes, similar to the Action Replay. It also supports real time saves - save your game instantly at any time, allowing you to complete levels at a later date. A soft-reset function is available, so you never have to turn off your DS / GBA in order to play another game - just hit a small combination of buttons to bring up the main menu, from which you can choose many different options.

With the SuperCard, it will only last for about 9-10 hours on average. Your mileage may vary, as the actual battery life hasn't been tested as of yet.

The SuperCard Lite is a must for anyone who owns a Nintendo DS Lite. The SuperCard team did a great job by creating a piece of hardware that fits flush into the DS Lite. Not only will it not stick out, but you never have to take it out to put new software on it either! The SuperCard Lite's major advantage over its competitor, the M3 Lite, is the fact that you can easily remove the MicroSD card without removing the SuperCard Lite at all.
