The Nintendo's 3DS lets you connect with other players around the world, but first, you'll need to exchange Friend Codes.

A Friend Code is a 12-digit number exclusive to each 3DS system that you share with your friends.
this will then allow them to send you Notes/Letters & even allow you to play against them

To make this work, you both must give each other a Friend Code
& once shared (and accepted) you'll know when they're online and what games they're playing (and vice versa)
(providing you're both connected to the Internet at the same time)

This Wiki page contains a selection of GBAtemp members Friend codes.

IF you add a friend code to your 3DS please Remember to PM (Private Message) the person to say that you did

To find your 3DS friend code

Turn on your 3DS
Tap the small smiley face at the top edge on the lower screen
Scroll across to your designated Mii & you'll see the 12-digit code under your name on the top screen

How to add a Friend Code

Turn on your 3DS
Tap the small smiley face at the top edge on the lower screen
Tap the small smiley face with the plus (+) sign on it, at the upper right on the lower screen
Make sure you are in range of an access point, and have wireless communications enabled.
Tap "Internet"
Enter a Friend Code from this page, or from somewhere else
Tap "OK"
Wait a bit
You have successfully entered a Friend Code!
Now wait for the person you added to add you, if you haven't done so already
If you got a Friend Code from this page, remember to PM (Private Message) the person you added, with your Friend Code, so he/she can add you too

Wikipage Editing

When editing please use the following template format:

Where:

name= - Your Username
code= - Your 3DS Friend Code (preferably keep in the form of 'xxxx-yyyy-zzzz')
country= - (optional) Your Country of origin
notes= - Any additional notes you like to add

You MUST include all parts of the template - but you do not have to enter anything after the '=' if you have no information about it.

Also:

Please try and keep all entries in an alphabetical order even though there IS a sort option on many of the table columns.
If your User name has a space in it (e.g. 'King Zargo') can you please place a underscore '_' in place of the space (so 'King Zargo' becomes 'King_Zargo')

It helps the linking to GBATemps Member list to work properly
