[[File:GBAtemp Recommends.png|thumb|The current logo]]'''GBAtemp Recommends''' was a weekly magazine feature, launched October 22nd, 2008, in which the GBAtemp staff recommended classic Game Boy Advance titles. On October 3rd, 2011, the project was revived into a full featured news article where the GBAtemp community and staff members are no longer given any specific software/system restrictions. 

Each Monday, the authors will post a new issue featuring a new title that we recommend you play! The selected titles are the best of the best for one reason or another in our humble opinions. The things we recommend may be “old school” titles, a homebrew, a ROM hack, sleeper hits, an application, etc, but one thing's certain, we think they are fantastic and deserve your attention! 

This project aims to share the word about great software that some may not have experienced. We hope that our efforts spark your interests and give you a reason to dust off forgotten gaming systems.

In the issues, we aim to provide lots of information, screenshots, gameplay videos, and helpful links. In addition, the GBAtemp community members are able to discuss the recommended title in the topic itself - where they can share their opinions, tips, advice, and challenges!

== Modern GBAtemp Recommends ==
Another revival attempt at GBAtemp Recommends was made in 2019, attempting to establish two articles per month, on Fridays. The current GBAtemp Magazine Staff has so far managed to keep the Recommends tradition alive, discussing not only interesting games, but also retrospectives of particular series. The editorial began with an issue focusing on the Danganronpa franchise and has continued on to cover games and romhacks both big and small, such as the Dread X Collection, Mario's Super Picross, Pokemon XG, and more.
