SNEEK SD/SDHC-Card Compatibility List

Anyone is free to edit this list though you must create an account first. Vandals will be banned and their IP blocked from further edits.

Introduction

This Wiki-Page was made for sharing the Speed of SD/SDHC-Cards with SNEEK. It seems like some SD Cards are slower/faster than others. The final results for you may vary, because the Size of the Dump can influence the speed.

PLEASE READ ME (Guidelines)

1. If you are the first person to add a Device, then the confirmed column should read 0 (as it is unconfirmed). Every person should then add 1 to that when they have verified that outcome.

2. Keep it to English! Most people at GBATemp have decent English, if you can't say something in English, then write it down in whatever language you speak and hopefully someone will translate it for you.

3. Try to fill out as much as you can.

4. Hugely important would be adding a link to the card and where you bought it. Naming has been a little vague, lets be precise. Cards can differ from batch to batch. If the shop you purchased it from can't be found online, please find the manufacturers web page for that EXACT card version.

How to test

1. Backup any Data on the card you're going to Test.

2. Format the whole card. You can use GParted or the built in Explorer for this.

3. Do the Read/Write/Random Acess-Tests at your PC.

-> Windows: Use HD Tach
-> Ubuntu:
-> Mac OS X:

4. Get NUS-Downloader, ShowMiiWads and this Script.

5. Launch NUS-Downloader, only slelect "Delete Contents" and "Pack as WAD", and run the Script.

6. Use ShowMiiWads to generate the Dump. This is your Test-Dump.

7. Stop the time, starting when you press a button and ending when you See the Menu/Strip-Screen/Full Screen of saves.
