Biography

Early Life

Steven was born in Canada. As an Asian in Canada, Steven spent almost all of his time studying, trying to obtain that 4.0 GPA. Of course, being the extreme Asian that he is, he spent all of his free time doing computer-y things. Since age three, he has been learning how to use computers.

Introduction to Gaming

Steven was freed from his endless studies when his older brother introduced him to the Super Nintendo in the early summer of 1997, and connected to the internet for the first time in 2000. He was very interested in the various things that the internet had to offer, and he instantly adopted to a world of computers with the internet. Through the Internet, Steven developed an interest in many computers and is still attatched to them.

Internet Life

Steven uses the internet daily for all purposes. He usually uses the internet to download items, as well as buying/selling various items that are difficult to obtain locally. He also does most of his homework on the computer with the help from the internet.

Steven is now signed up at countless forums and networking websites, sometimes under the alias ScuberSteve. This includes:

Personal Life

Steven is currently attending Michael Power/St. Joseph High School under the IB program, and puts his studies first. His favourite subject is math. Steven doesn't have many hobbies, but he is currently dedicated to the ones he does have. These hobbies include:

  • Anime (Including Chobits, Flame of Recca, Ranma 1/2, Tsubasa Chronicle, etc)
  • Blogging (On Blogger)
  • Surfing the Internet
  • Video Gaming (Mostly RPGs and various beat-based games such as DDR)
  • Vlogging (On YouTube)

Because Canada is filled with Asians, people see most of Steven's hobbies as stereotypes that every Asian enjoys. Unfortunately, it is the case.

Nintendo

First Encounter

The first Nintendo Game Steven played was Super Mario World. It was an unforgettable experience for him. However, the games weren't his, and when he had to return it, he felt left out of the Nintendo world.

Presumably, the Last Encounter

In 1997 Steven's life was forever changed. The Christmas of that year was a great one, for it was that year his father had purchsed a Nintendo 64 console. Growing up for years on classics such as Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Wave Race, he had experienced the gold that Nintendo had to offer at the time. Unfortunately, Steven showed a great lack of interest for the Nintendo Game Cube.

Sony

The PlayStation

One of Steven's fanboy friends had a modded PlayStation console. The two of them would play it for hours on end, but at the end of the day, he knew that the PlayStation was for him. He didn't have any money to obtain it, and that was his only problem.

The PS2

On his 10th birthday, Steven's friends and family took the time to raise the funds to buy Steven a totally awesome birthday gift that would blow his mind. That gift was a PS2. Through playing Gran Turismo games, Dark Cloud games, Jak & Daxter games, Ratchet & Clank games, he still managed to get the 4.0 GPA. Even though nothing was interfering with his life, his parents still limited his gameplay time.

The PSP

As a Christmas gift, his brother bought him a PSP. Steven had been anticipating one for some time, and had been reading various ways to make the PSP better than it already was. With his PSP, Steven followed the PSP scene with a commitment that he didn't think would soon die. Dark_AleX was somewhat a hero to him. Unfortunately, Steven slowly lost interest in games in general.

The Re-Encounter?

In the summer of 2007, it was decided by Steven that he would sell his PSP to someone for a DS Lite. His goal was achieved a week before that Christmas, and his happiness made his Christmas much better than what he had expected to be giftless. He has bought a DSTT, and currently uses both.
