Gateway 3DS v2.0b2 mod by Normmatt

This mod will enable region-free for retail 3DS cartridges by disabling the ROM feature in "Gateway Mode." This mod does not require the need for a Gateway 3DS flashcart; only a DS-mode flashcart is required to install the NVRAM exploit.

ATTENTION: This modification is considered dangerous because it's based on v2.0b2, which contains an anti-modification protection from the Gateway team, which in turn bricks the 3DS console. We strongly advise you to NOT use it. You CANNOT recover using hard-brick recovery methods such as ntrboothax; this form of brick requires soldering wires onto the eMMC and reprogramming using either a Raspberry Pi or SD card reader.
