This is a compatibility list that details custom Sega Genesis / Mega Drive games on Sega 3D Classics releases. This list does not apply to Sega Master System, SG-1000, and Sega Arcade games. For the first two, it can only be played through compilations (no known way to strip the emulators + ROMs from the rest of the other content for now). Keep in mind that a ROM must be patched to have the 3D effects.

This list also does not apply to Nintendo iterations of 3D Classics, as the games on this variant were actually reconstructed for the 3DS.

NOTE: Using Citra to test Genesis 3D Classics games may result in a random crash after the emulation of the Genesis game starts.

How to replace the ROMs (internal ROM names varies by hosts)

Posting Guidelines: UNDERSTAND BEFORE EDITING

Name - Add the name obviously and if it’s a game that has several releases like 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 add it as well.

Do not add Sega CD / Mega-CD BIOS files to the list as standard Genesis ROMs. They do not work and this emulator did not add full MCD support until Genesis Mini 2 anyway.
Do not add Sega 32x games to the list, as they will either display a message that requires the 32x or gives a black screen.

Region - Enter "USA" (International) or "JAP". All 3D Classics standalone releases support up to two regional variants of each game.

For games that can run on both regions, please set it as "JU"
For games released only in Brazil, please set it as "USA".
For games released only in South Korea, please set it as "JAP".
For games locked to PAL regions that only run in 50Hz systems, a ROM must be edited to run in "USA" and/or "Japan" regions. Issues may happen if the game is not optimized to run on 60Hz systems.

Host - The name of the 3D Classics game that you used to replace the 2 ROMs.

Possible hosts are:
- 3D Altered Beast (saves space on SD card)
- 3D Ecco the Dolphin (lacks Local Play)
- 3D Gunstar Heroes (6 button pad support)
- 3D Shinobi III (partial 6 button pad support, lacks Local Play)
- 3D Sonic the Hedgehog (lacks Local Play)
- 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- 3D Streets of Rage
- 3D Streets of Rage 2

Status - This describes the compatibility of the injected game. Enter "Works", "Issues", or "Doesn't Work".

Notes - Use this to describe playability, bugs, and glitches and to give additional other notes if needed.
