Bio
Adam Kaump was born on November 30th, 1982 in Houston, Texas. He is the oldest of 6 children, and has 4 brothers and 1 sister. He currently lives in Lansing, Michigan, with his girlfriend of about 2 years.
He graduated from Michigan State University's school of Journalism in December of 2005. Throughout his five years in college, he worked as a Night Receptionist Supervisor and Coordinator, which pretty much means that he was noctournal the whole time he was getting his learn on.
He works at a Fortune 500 company, currently, though he has aspirations of one day getting a job that puts his degree to use. (Adam has since gotten another job that does, again, not use his journalism degree. way to go.)
Pets
Adam has two pets. He has a corn snake named Bitey, and a domestic short haired cat named Trouble.
Bitey was born sometime in summer of 2004, and was acquired by Adam shortly thereafter. It has been scientifically proven that Bitey is the cutest snake in the world. Also, despite his name, he has never once bitten anybody. His name was taken from the Simpsons episode with the monorail. Homer has a family of opossums living in his monorail, and he says that he calls the big one "bitey." It seemed like a good name for a snake.
Trouble was acquired on September 10th, 2006, and she was about 2 months old at the time. She loves to play fetch with various objects around the house such as pens and water bottle caps. She also does not like baths. Her name came as the result of a long day of brainstorming between Adam and his girlfriend. Now it's awesome to be able to say "Uh oh. Here comes Trouble," etc, whenever she's around.

Avatar
Adam's avatar is from a print named "Target" done by artist Luke Chueh, whom Adam would probably consider to be his favorite artist. The avatar is being used without permission, so hopefully Luke doesn't end up suing Spokenrope some day.
Most of Spokenrope's backgrounds have also been "borrowed" from Chueh's works. Using the copy tool in Photoshop, they were expanded to a size suitable for desktoping.
More of Luke's works can be found at Luke's Website
Screen Names
Adam has gone by many different screen names over the years.
Supdog: Supdog was Adam's first internet nickname, and it came as the result of about 5 minutes of thinking. "Sup dog?" was the cool way of asking "Hello friend. How are you today?" at the time, so that's where that came from. That internet name lasted pretty much all through high school.
Sensurrounder: Again. Not a lot of thought went into this one. They Might be Giants (one of Adam's favorite bands at the time) have a song called "Sensurround" that Adam liked a lot. Add an "er" to the end, and you've got a screen name that pretty much means "one that sensurrounds," whatever that means.
eNsaneiconoclast: Jeez. What the hell was Adam thinking on this one. Adam still does consider himself to be something of an iconoclast, but where the misspelled "insane" with a capital "N" came from, nobody knows. This screen name had to be retired because Adam got tired of having to explain to all his friends what an iconoclast actually is.
thebripple: Adam likes this screen name a lot. Breasts + Ripples = Bripples. Think tight shirts and nice breasts. Between the breasts, you shall find the bripples.
Spokenrope: Adam's most oft used nickname, currently. Adam considers himself to be pretty good at communicating with others, especially the ladies. The spoken rope can be interperated two ways - you can rope someone up in order to draw them towards you, or you can use that same rope to hang yourself. That's some zen shit, right there.
Signature
You'll have a hard time finding a signature attached to one of Spokenrope's posts. He considers them obnoxious. He thinks that people who have signatures that are just big ass avatars ought to be shot. Same with people who end their posts with their nickname so that you're absolutely sure who made that moronic comment.
(adam has an intresting habit of leaving "rock, adam." at the end of his journal entries for someone who hates that sort of thing.)
